My dentist finally dug deep into an old root canal today. He thinks this may have cause me problems / pain for years. Incleaning out the old debris, he removed a nerve that he said I did n't need, lol... I guess years of being infected and under pressure finally did it in.
I have had less jaw pain since I was on mega antbiotics this spring. Now this should help with that stinking chronic jaw problem.

He said I will be uncomfortable for a few days. Can you imagine someone telling us AS'ers that we might be uncomfortable, lol....

I was told that I was too old for a job I was interested in; can you imagine someone telling me,. such a thing...

Kepp up the good work, never give up, keep learning and growing; remember that it is in loving the unlovely that we often find our best reward...

Well, that doc had a lot of nerve, didn't he. wink I'm glad to hear he caught it. It would be wonderful if this relieved some of your pain.

And you aren't OLD!! Just a little used, is all. It gives you character.

Love and hugs,

Lon, the average age of a pro stuntman is early twenties; limited opportunities after age 40 so perhaps you should try a different career since your 40th bday is coming up. iritis

Not telling someone they are too old for a job happens all the time, Erica. In my city is common to hire someone for a 'full time' job and then for the person to receive just 4 hours of work in a week. What person would stick with a job like that? Impossible to even afford a loaf of bread and some meat slices with earning from it.

Why can't I find a job? Because I have an invisible disability. Employers cannot see it for themselves, they think I am lying on my application.

Glad they found the errant nerve, Lon and were able to remove it for you. It must be a relief to have it removed.

Kat,
You made me smile...

I am in pain today, but now I feel my jaw more than other pain.... little used, you are still making me smile.

I get endorphins by posting with you fine folk.

Thanks for taking time...

Snow,
Thanks!!! Yea, some of the stunts I have pulled would have retired me several times.. a bit of rain, put out more fires!!

Lin's tiny dog got mad at me this morning and finally just sat on her tiny little butt squinting at me... so much for that walk.
How is my brain buddy?

Erica,

learning and growling . can you explain the image, or not in front of the kids.... my girls growled when they were very young Lin's dog is always acting like she is 7 foot tall..growling

I enjoy being a grandpa = old, but I did want a crack at a job that requires more energy than I probably have

thanks

Kat, I often see the bottom hem of that long brown skirt on your glamour picture.

It always reminds me of us trying to dry out the Mary Jane, that grew wild along the creeks in Iowa, 50 years ago. Bu the itme it dried a bit, a real big wind would come up... blow it away, or the Iowa dew would ruin it.

ah kids, doing dumb stuff,
You also see that tobacco drying in the barns in PENN. around Reading, and Sassamanville, PA
agape'
