Hello everyone! Yep it is me again! But this time with an actual diagnosis. ohwell
I have been sent to see a specialist in Winnipeg to confirm.

My symptoms: right heel burning on and off; facial skin flaking scaly flakes of skin which leave a red patch on my face when removed; nails flaking; excessive tiredness; swollen fingers which look like sausages. Now throw in the constant pain of my SI joints, morning stiffness, walking hunched over, inability to open some containers without struggling first.

Can you figure it out? My doctor did. Bless him for having the patience to figure it out and help me. I have psoriatic arthritis. Wow! My body is being attacked by itself. The only monster able to attack me was my own body.

A diagnosis - terrific relief. I can well understand how you must feel - good for that doctor. He held on like a true terrier - not satisfied until he's got the full rope!
Now will be able to treat. Great update - good job all round - clap

It's good that you finally got a Dx. Now you can get a treatment plan.

I hope so. I know now it is not normal for one's lips to begin shedding. I can feel the pieces of tissue coming off. I did not eat anything spicy for lunch. They just shed. Even the Costochondritis. It still keeps hitting me every so often and feels like a heart attack each time.

Slowly each piece of the puzzle has been rotating before falling into place. Just needed the correct doctor to put it together. My doctor is on a well deserved vacation for four weeks and he deserves every day of it.

Oh Angie, finally! Praise God you kept looking and now have the right diagnosis. You have had to fight tooth and nail for all of your dx's and this one was very hard. Have they started you on anything? Do you have some peace of mind now? I really hope so. Thank you for sharing your news.

Magic, I am so happy to hear that finally, FINALLY, you have a diagnosis and can start making informed decisions about treatment. Enbrel helped my sweetie's PsA immeasurably, but they couldn't give it to him until he had a proper dx and a rheumy who gave a damn. I'm glad you finally have both, too.

By the way, I love how happy your eyes look in your photo. It's wonderful to see.

Love and hugs,
