If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Essential Oils?

Hi I went to an essential oil "class" the other night. Your basic multilevel marketing type "class" where they try to get you to by the "starter kit" and come back next week with a friend for free stuff. But I did feel quite nice after the pain relief oil! So after doing some research on the net I bought a good brand at my local vitamin cottage {at 10% the cost) and it's working quite nicely. Pure peppermint gives me the most relief rubbed in to my skin, and breathing it calms me down. Anyone else using oils?

i haven't been a few people on here have really sounded enthusiastic about them.
trudi i believe was one.
and i think its something donette either did or does. maybe talk to her (if i have it correct) if you want to delve into it further.
i guess its on my "to do" list.
at the least, the peppermint oil sounds useful.
i've used lavender essential oil on my temples (and to simply inhale (aromatherapy)) for migraines. lavender is excellent for migraines! i tend to get them when i travel, so i take my lavender shea butter "hand cream" with me. its a small metal tin with solid 100% shea butter with lavender essential oil mixed in. multipurpose this way: the lavender for the migraines, the shea for hands, feet, lips from the dry air on airplanes, but i digress.
i do eat peppermint (teas or candies made with essential oil) for my gastritis. honestly, nothing else works as well. i have a box of high quality candy canes that i keep year round for just such a purpose. they are "all natural" made with peppermint oil and glucose and just a few other ingredients. i get them at our natural foods store.
i also buy some essential oils for my bath water / aromatherapy.... but i do need to explore the essential oils more.....

Love them! I use them every night before bed or during the day to calm me. They are wonderful. I have a lot of new homemade lavender soap bars that a friend makes for me. They are delicious. They are so soothing and my Dr. highly recommends them.

:)Sue, I don't buy really any particular brand. I buy mostly from the Lavender fields where they sell their own. I have had some bought for me but the soaps I buy are from: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sound-Botanicals/285533471479607Same place but with more info but the FB has pic's of the really cute soaps. She has sprays and rubs as well: http://www.soundbotanicals.com/

I would really encourage anyone to try her soaps for the essential oils and the fact they are natural. Her husband works in a very remote place as a dam worker and this gives her something to do. She has started to travel and go to some shows and get her name out their with people wanting natural things for their skin now. Some can tolerate smells while others can't. I have a friend who comes over and if even as much as put deodorant on, she makes me shower it off!!!! Very sensitive.
