I got my stent out yesterday. Much easier than getting it in.
I had to have a general anesthetic to get it and took it out in the dr's office.

I still have some infection. I am supposed to have another scan in a month. I told him that I have a plane ticket for then so he moved it up a week so we can see if everything is staying open before I travel.

He said he "hoped" this helps things. I didn't have any thoughts that it might not! I choose to still think that way.

One thing is that I am glad that I had cancelled my rhizotomy because the back pain was most definitely from my kidneys instead of the AS. We can really get tunnel vision as can the drs.

My kidney's shut down a few months ago.

But they have been good lately....I think.

Oh those temperatures sound wonderful. Sure you would like to move back to our part of the country? We are headed for 104 again today with the Northern part of the state up to 110.
