I made some of these tonight.
I added a little garlic and salt and pepper when microwaving the cauliflower.
You need to grind the cauli reasonably fine or it is a bit uneven coming out the piping tube. I gave mine a light spray in olive oil then baked in the oven. They needed about 18 minutes to get a good colour.
I ate some hot, and have cooled the rest and frozen them for when I need a little naughty salty *treat*.
I have never had Tater Tots, but I'm guessing they're some sort of mini hash brown soaked in trans fats (!) There is something here in Oz called Potato Gems - maybe similar? (never eaten them either, but they look like crunchy bad-for-you-but-delicious little morsels.....)
