love the 90 minute appointment idea. Traditional docs could learn a bit on making appointments. It was nice not to be on that 10 - 15 minute appointment schedule.
Good input on my diet and we are checking for heavy metal (mercury) problems at this point.
had to laugh when she agreed with me that 90% of the crap in a health food store is pretty much worthless

my naturpath got me started on the path i am now on. my rheumy continued me on it. good to have a rheumy who is open to both "western" and more "naturpath" ways. mostly its good to work with open minded people willing to try things and who are all about the results. if its helps and doesn't hurt, who cares what it is.

How do you find a good Naturpath? There are a lot listed in the phone book here but that's really shooting in the dark to just pick one out. Also, exactly what do they do for you? I am really curious since my dr. is no longer treating my disease process.

Possi I hope to find a doc that can advise me on my nutrition and look at the overall picture rather then just a slice of my health like a specialist does. you can do a google search for the state natrualpath association for where you live here is the montana one and it gave my doc names and locations. http://www.mtnd.org/

Glad you found a good one. I too, see a natrapath and have gained my mobility and health back! I found mine on the internet and through talking with friends who have gone to him.

the one i have is ok, but i'd like a better one.
possi: my compounding pharmacy is connected to the naturpaths in town. my GYN PA is naturpath-like and is thus well connected with the naturpath community. i think once you find one doctor like this, its like a network.

I think the Dr. enjoyed the visit with an intelligent gent!
If you do find a lot of heavy metals, you might want to start the "rock band"
