If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I am hoping someone here may have an answer for me. It is a strange thing to discuss with my doctor. OK, here goes. At various times throughout the day the fingers on my right hand are swollen like sausages. The feeling in them is not off but you can visibly see the difference in appearance when comparing my left and right hands. My right hand's middle knuckle is noticeably pointier and stands out from the other knuckles when clenching a first. The left hand's is not as noticeable. My knees have bumps underneath them. Some days this bump is noticeable; other days not. One elbow is pointy sharp in appearance (right one). The other is not. I feel like a blooming idiot for posting this. And totally paradroid. Is this a normal thing for others to have?

No Angie, I think having sausage digits are absolutely a symptom. I have heard this time after time. Hopefully some others will chime in.

anything visible periodically:
take photos to show your doctor.
if its nothing, he'll assure you its nothing.
if its of concern, he'll know that as well.
don't worry what he might think. always better to ask the questions.

Definitely take photos. I know my doc doesn't seem to take anything seriously unless he sees it - but photos in the past of things like that have been good enough.

It sounds like nodules, I get them with my RA, I have them on my wrist and on both sides of my elbow. Maybe look up on "RA nodules" and see if it looks like what you have.Take care.

not that I have noticed. yesterday I was talking with a good friend about how the skin by my eyebrows gets scaly and flakes off. she says talk to your doctor about Psiosis. sp? i get that too (in a few other places as well). more in the winter than the summer. i figure since psoriasis is a cousin to AS and undiff spondy, made sense that i get some skin rashes that are perhaps similar to psoriasis. but not enough to call it psoriatic arthritis. that's the thing about undiff spondy. its a little bit of this and a little bit of that kind of disease, for me. eucerin (the original thick stuff in the tub) seems to work the best on my scaly dry patches when i get them. if its really psoriasis, they have ointments specifically for that. even OTC stuff. probably not as strong, but its a place to start. i'd start with eucerin, and if that didn't work, move on)
