I'm so sorry, Brad...I know this is hard, Torrie will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge, my friend...big hugs & much love, Michelle heart

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. rainbow

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... heart

So sorry Brad, as everyone has said who has lost a pet, it is hard. It is a hard responsibility to know when the time is right but so hard to do. We still love talking about our Sheba and she will always be with us in our hearts. Give yourself some time and come and chat with us when you feel blue. My heart is breaking for you.

I'm a huge animal lover and hate to hear stories like this but one cannot get around life. Doesn't make it easier except to remember them as they were. I dread the day my cat Ansi gets too old so I try to appreciate every day she's around purring like the purring machine she is.

Oh Brad, I'm so sorry. This goodbye is going to be incredibly sad for you, I know. I remember you talking about your amazing dog and just by your heartfelt words now, it's so clear how deeply attached you both were. Just remember that she knew she was loved, all of her life with you.

It nearly killed me when I lost Beardog, the emptiness.

Warmest hugs Brad. hug

Oh Brad

My heart goes out to you my friend. I am such a dog lover and know how awful it is to lose a family member and friend. I have been there and I can tell you the pain will pass. Take care of yourself in the coming days...things will get easier for you.

Sorry for your loss.
