If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi AS kickers,
Kristine here. I am thinking of taking a food intolerance test. I read about Imupro, "Australia and New Zealand's most advanced food intolerance test", which tests for 271 foods. It's quite expensive but I am willing to pay the money if I'm sure it's legit. Has anyone tried this? Do you think it will be helpful?
There's also something called Mediator Release Test (MRT) which I heard about on Chris Kresser's podcast, but it only tests for 150 foods, a lot of which I don't even know because I live in a tropical country.
Please chime in with your thoughts and experience. Thanks.

i didn't even know about these really til the naturpath wanted me to do this.
i can't remember the company.
regardless, i think any to start are worth it.
it caught my casein problem.
i had known dairy flared my gastritis. but i had had no idea that it was probably a culprit to my arthritis. since the testing, i've steered clear of it. i don't know how much that's helping, as i'm doing a number of other things as well, but i have been feeling better in between flares. maybe it takes a long time to heal the gut through staying clear of the trigger foods, taking the probiotics, etc?
anyway, my opinion, get the test done, best one you can find. see what it tells you and go from there.

For Gluten-Associated Cross-Reactive Foods and Foods Sensitivity I took the Cyrex Test (Array 4). For 15+ years I've eaten eggs and found out I was allergic to it...quite the shocker. My food intolerance list can be found HERE.
Edited by brianzajac (05/27/12 06:43 AM) Edit Reason: added array 4

I did the MRT test and found it to be useful for me. It was expensive ($400), but it showed me that pork, nightshades, and some veggies I was eating were reactive. Once I cut that stuff, everything seemed to get even better.
