If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Magic, I know you can do it. I am sure your studying history is no worse than mine: I can't remember how many courses, enrolments and having to change plans I have done since first starting tertiary level study in 1973. I didn't get my first qualification (a low level certificate) until 1980. I managed to get a two year diploma in 1989 (but only after having a year break in the middle and negotiating an individual course for a big chunk of one year), and I finally completed a university degree course in 2000 - 27 years after I had first started at university! Like you, I have never given up on being able to study and gain qualifications, and have just completed the first year of a 3 year taught masters degree. I've had at least 6 completely different courses of study in that lot too, as well as a lot of assistance from disabled student support to get me through or negotiate changes of course or reinstatement of enrolment when I had failed to complete.
So you go, girl! and take whatever time you need, change your course as often as it makes sense to get what you want out of it, and use every bit of disability assistance you can find to help.

oh, Lon, I sure will. My first two classes of each day are the same. First class is Legal Principals followed by Financial Accounting 1. The legal principals instructor is a lawyer whom I know. Haven't seen him in a few years but being a graduate of Legal Secretarial many years ago, I am looking forward to his class discussions. In October, Legal Principals is replaced by Canadian Business. Financial Accounting 1 continues until January. In January courses change over to Marketing Principles and Financial Accounting 2 and that is it for my first year of college. My course load has been drastically reduced with all courses ending at lunchtime. I will have the entire afternoon to work on course work assignments. I did something similar to this two years ago and found it immensely helpful. Thank you so very much for just asking about me to discuss my course. I do not want to bore the knackers off anyone here.

Testing for my mental facilities is now completed. I cried twice today because I couldn't concentrate to answer the question being asked. There is a nursing station directly across from the testing room I was in. There were six nurses on duty and they were loudly yelling at each other. Each time they would yell, my concentration broke and I couldn't focus. I just sat there silently crying with my eyes closed trying to blank out those stupid nurses.
The part of the testing which just slaughtered me was the word association testing. I just couldn't understand above the stupid women. I failed the color association testing but blew away the testing for matching boxes to the proper number.
This was yet another example of how incredibly badly I function on an empty stomach. I do not eat breakfast and I do not eat lunch. Functioning on a starvation diet. My moods shift as my energy level goes down.
In the middle of today's testing, I went to the bathroom and wanted so badly to run away from it. Had to breath slower to calm my thoughts. Guess it was a panic attack or something.

magician, they may have been loud, but it is in your ability to block out to some extent the noise that is not helpful. You are gaining, but remember, you are capable, intelligent and gain no favor by labeling others.
You can do this. You can improve your lot in life, no matter where you start from.
We understand about not knowing how much to eat and when...

Magic, you stuck it out, girl. You had difficulty, but you didn`t let it stop you. Just keep breathing.
You can do this.
Love and hugs,

Yes, thank you. I have also been labeled but they, too, know nothing of my struggles for I keep them fairly hidden from sight. It takes a lot to make me cry.
Today I cemented the third piece of my schooling. My mental health counsellor has formally agreed to work with me through my course. I am doing everything in my power to succeed.
I have gone willingly through all the neuro physc. testing. The Cat and MRI have both revealed further health issues which I am dealing with on my own. Have been praying to God to help me because I am not sure how much more I can carry on my shoulders. Feeling the weight weighing me down.

It's late and I'm tired from work, but wanted to suggest ear plugs. Get the highest decibal blocking number you can find. Use them for any tests you need to take. I use them to sleep as my hubby snores. As I've gotten older (and sleep gets harder to achieve), I've had more and more trouble blocking out sounds to be able to get to sleep. "White noise" bothers him, so I use ear plugs. Good luck with school. You can do this. Yea, Magic!!!!!
