Hello there
I had an appointment with my rheumy . The first one since I started remicade in Feb. He was pleased that the remicade is helping until I told him the prev treatment only lasted 4 weeks before it wore off. He said that it should help from one treatment to the next. But he stated that with some it doesn't do that and a boost is needed. So he wants me to take methotrexate and stay on the remicade as well. But I don't start it until I am healed from the surgery.

Val, the Remicade worked in phases for me. Sometimes it would last longer than others. Pairing it with something isn't a bad idea. Just play it by ear.

My sweetie's in the middle of getting dinner and I should be helping, just wanted to lend my support and encouragement.

Love,
