I read by forums, most threads unless it is one I have absolutely no interest in. Use the search function, too. Don't do the 'shout box' much, though.

I use the forums lists. Always have. That way, I can see where Alan might have started a thread and know to avoid it. Or at least get ready for bad jokes.

I always just go to "Forum List" and that way I can see every forum listed and how many new threads and posts are in each. Then I just work my way through them - usually start with NSD forum, then up to this one and a couple of others if anything takes my fancy. Have never used 'Active Topics'.

If you click on 'Forums Main Index' under Kickas Links near the top left of page, then click on the forum that you want to start a new thread in, then there will be a 'New Topic' button near the top left of screen. Hope that helps

I am definitely a Forums List gal. Active topics is way too chaotic for me; too easy to miss something, or to forget which forum I'm responding in.

LOVE the approach of starting with Unanswered Posts. More of us should consider doing that! For those who may not know how to navigate to find it.... Click on Active Topics on the top bar > Unanswered Posts. Great way to ensure that everyone is getting the support and answers that they need.

If you are new and usually utilize Active Topics... it is worth clicking on the Forums List and reading through the various forum descriptions. I find it helpful to know the category where someone chose to post, in order to understand and offer the most meaningful reply to their question.

I'd be interested to hear more chime in on how they view/browse KA.

I just have this assigned to Command 2 on my mac, so I see the most recent posts at the top of the screen...figuring it will give me an indication of what has been going on lately.
