I am just a little more "stove up" to borrow a phrase from my dad. :o) The stiffness that used to last a couple of hours in the a.m. just lasts.....

I have a lot of pain and am going to have another rhizotomy in June AND I am going to FL to visit our daughter and family! A visit to the grands ought to help anything.

I think of you all a lot and my sweet husband reminded me that I was a much happier camper when I had all of you in my life daily and he has encouraged me to be here.

I gave my laptop to our youngest daughter who went back to school to get her RN degree. Sitting at the desk is not easy as you all well know. Hopefully she will finish before long and I can have the laptop back.

My dr. stopped treating my diseases and we are just going for quality of life. He asked me if I was ok with that because I had so many bad reactions to the medications that he said he was afraid he was going to kill me trying to help me get better. I told him that we certainly didn't want that!! and also when you consider how long I have been doing this, I am doing really well.

Thanks Tim. I realize how much I have missed all of you. Another rhizotomy will help. He mostly does chemical ones now but with the problems I have with drugs, I still get the old radio frequency ones. Every time they "ground" me, I wonder if I am going to get electrocuted.

The unsettled weather really bothers me and we are having round after round of thunderstorms today after starting in the middle of the night. I hate to complain about any rain. We were so desperate for rain last year. It does make the pain worse though.

Joyce, please do get back here more frequently. As the others have indicated, I'm not here as much these days, and really, it's too bad. We need our KA family, and my days just don't seem right since I'm not here every day anymore.

I'm glad to hear things are, well, not devolving anyway. I'm also glad that your quality of life has become more important to your doctor. Sometimes the cure is worse, yes? And your daughter studying to be an RN! That's very exciting!

You just keep looking after you, and tell your hubby that he is a very wise man.
