She told me this afternoon that she is on the morphine pump but when it gets bad, the give her a shot. Fever pain is bad. I wondered if they have a special pain med for fever. That is how Fibro feels sometimes and the poor thing has that too.

Possi,
That gives us some hope that she can beat it too. Sounds like you went through an awful ordeal. Her surgery was on the second so that is a long time to be up in the I.C.U.

Yea, today her Dr.s said that they are seeing improvement as her fever isn't staying as high so long! We'll take that!

Thanks Pea: Glad to hear Michelle has some improvement with her fever. It is a very good sign her body is figuring out what to do to beat her infection.

Pea, I really hope you can get your inpatient hospitalization to get on a better track. In the meantime, I'm here for you and want you to know you are not alone.

Gentle hugs- Shari

Latest update and all from today. She should be getting the bone biopsy results back today. Tomorrow they test to see if the surgery worked. They are testing her today to see if she can swallow and she is supposed to be moved out of the I.C.U. today!!!!!!! How is that for some updates!!!! I just sent her a text to see the results but haven't back yet. So exciting. I know she will be thrilled to be back in a regular room so she tell you all in person how she is doing. What a trooper huh?

Pea - Cheers gal - Thank you and bless you for the update. Pray Michelle can swallow, that her swallowing mechanism is not compromised. Now on tenterhooks for the biopsy results.

Hope YOU are OK Pea - are your pain levels under better control? Take care hon -

Tell Michelle she is in our prayers over here - as well are you (((HUGS))) to you both -
