If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Janet, I had the same problem with NSAIDS. Ongoing repeated nose bleeds. About a month after I stopped them, I stopped getting nose bleeds. Not sure if it was a coinsidence or not but they stopped! I stopped because of stomach issues.

When you say you bruise Do you mean for no reason? Do bruises just end up on your body without bumping into something? I have been getting little bruises on my arms and legs. I blame it on prednisone because I read about it in a medical encyclopedia, that prednisone will cause bruising. However, I didn't know nsaids could do it too, does it say it on the side effects list? Thanks.

I had a link for this, but the page died when I was trying to post it....(looking again) spontaneous bleeding in skin If you stop the med and the nosebleeds stop, it's only part of the test. You need to restart the med and see if the same thing happens. It might not, meaning it was something other than the med that caused the nosebleeds. The 'something else' could be dry air, allergies, etc. I used to get nosebleeds in the winter, ENT said it was dry air or it could be inflammation of the tissues along with a vessel that is near to the surface. Do a little more research to see if it is truly the med. If it works, you don't want to stop taking it just because you had a nosebleed that could be from something else. Those warnings about bruising/nosebleeds usually mean spontaneous bleeding from no cause/trauma. Just bruising more easily to bumps/scrapes is not a reason to stop an NSAID that is working. Warning signs would be huge purple bruises under the skin all over the body. Hope you find your answer. Hugs.

Yep. Agreed. Now my salicylate sensitivity is so bad that I can't even eat cinnamon at all. Or tumeric... or really any spices that taste good. Lucky for me I love garlic!

If you are getting any unusual bleeding or bruising it really is a good idea to check it out with your doctor. It might be a side effect of NSAID use, but there are a whole lot of other reasons and its worth getting medical advice rather than just assuming.
