They have had.... Not quite sure its a good idea to crack it though....

Chiropractors are pretty much off limits. Our bone structure is not that of a normal person and manipulations can be very dangerous. I have read some stories where surgeons who have dealt with Spondy patients claiming bones to be like wet chalk instead of hard structures.

Its not just that bones can be soft, its those little extra syndesmophytes and osteophytes, where a good "crack" through physical manipulation could actually lead to spinal cord injury.

Hi
I agree with both, it won't help the stifness, as much as a good stretch, if you can, and a hot shower. I would not let anybody adjust my spine.

I have to point out first that I am undiagnosed.

But that said; I went to a Naparapat 2 years ago, for hip and lower back pain. Unrelated to this I thought at the time I got shoulder pains I get once in a while and always before it resolved by chiropractor cracking my neck. Th eNaprapat did the exact same move, and it led to what is now 2 years of neck pain, cronically.

I wouldnt reccomend it without first getting a good set of pictures that can tell the Chiro or Naprapat what is actually the sate of your bones and joints.
