She made through surgery but it took longer then thought. She had a bleed so a Vascular surgeon was brought in. She is on a feeding tube and I.V. and has had the P.E.T. scan done. Will have family meeting on Monday to talk about further treatment plan. She will have to have her esophagus reconstructed still. It has to be dilated and stretched. She just woke up late last night and her husband was asleep so she sent me a text to let me know she was at least awake now.
The rest she just told me about. Her texts sound positive but that just who she is. She wanted you all to know how she is and thank's for all the prayers and well wishes. Such a brave woman!

Thank you Pea for the update on Michelle. You are such a sweetheart! I have been checking for updates on her and very glad to hear she is doing o.k. It is a good sign she is in good spirits. I will keep praying for her.

Pea - Bless you for the update on Michelle. That wretched week is now behind her. Only a few more bits and bobs - but started on the mending process. So proud of that gal - what a gal. And well done the medical team.

Give Michelle all my love and best wishes - more prayers winging over the watery divide (have a wee prayer circle for her over here).

AND, how kind of Michelle to remember to say how all the other stuff went - Yea. Michelle. Everything went well - 'Good job' gal.

Now, next order is - concentrate on getting back to health. Relax, take it easy - and eat lots of good ice cream <LOL>
