Hi All,
I saw my rheumy three weeks ago, and I can't take Nsaids any longer because of my blood pressure. Have tried TNF drugs, not good for me. He told me about a supplement some of his lupus patients are taking with good success. It is called Zyflamend. I read all about it and decided to give it a try. I was eating Ex-Tylenol all day before this, and now I might take 2 a day. It is made up of herbs, and works similar to cox 2 inhibitors, without the bad side effects. I can't believe how much better I am. I had applied for a disability permit two weeks ago, because
my walking was so poor. Read up about it and decide for your self. I am too watch my blood pressure and stomach, and so far they are fine. I would say my blood pressure is actually lower, probably because I have less pain.

I've tried it for about 2 months and I had no success due to severe hip pain.I stopped my NSAIDs and tried zyflamend per instructions taking 2 aday.It helped for some symtoms but did nothing for my hips, which in turn I had to go back on the NSAIDs.
I hope it helps for you.

Tim

Hi Tim,

Sorry it did not help, I also take Omega 3 fish oil. Do you need hip replacements Tim ? I can certainly see some things work for some and others not so much.
