If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I am curious to know if many have both Irritable Bowel Syndrome and spondylitis. Also, has the low starch diet helped the IBS ?

Yes from this side of the channel. IBD, with polyps. Secreting Adenomatous polyps removed other polyps remain - stomach and colon. Plus, a diverticulitis; GERD/Reflux. (Have to go for check-ups every three years - due one this year, but do not fancy it. Last one, here in Fr., was an off the wall nonsense.)
LSD has DEFINITELY helped. Starches really throw my GERD/Reflux into a spin (nasty) and my gut don't like em, at all.
Gut *also objects to most vegetables and to many fruits. In addition, maltodextrin is out as is MSG - both make me really ill. As indeed do NSAIDs and many other medications. Just wish that doctors over here would take this on board, but they don't, brushing aside all such information yet the very 'same' doctors are writing up papers on how - NSAIDs in particular - can impinge on the gut! Shakes head. Heavy sigh!

i have both.
my "IBS" is gastritis and inflammation of the ileum (both determined by scoping as well).
my spondylitis appears to be undiff spondy.
no, the LSD has not appeared to help the IBS.
but the probiotics do. a casein free diet does. prednisone (when i'm flaring) does. and a "low residue diet" in times of GI distress helps.

Definitely, I do. For my entire life, I would only go about 1-2 times/week and it was always a huge strain! Grunting and huffing, it would take me 20 mins to be done. My signuf would always say it sounded like I was weight lifting in the bathroom when I came out, lol. Since going LSD, I still only go about 1-2 times/week but it's much different now. No strain at all and I'm done in like 2 mins but I often sit there a bit longer to read the news and kickas of course! Jason

Yes (IBS-D),
Have had a 'funny tummy' since early 20s, things getting much worse once SI/spine and overall tendon/muscle pain really set in 2 years ago.
Strict auto-immune diet (1+ years into) completely eliminates gas, bloating and other IBS problems.
So yes, absolutely so, in my case.
