not to say, one size fits all, but the two things that have really impressed me, in regards to MS:

some of the video testimonials on youtube regarding LDN and MS
and of all the LDN research, the success with MS seems the strongest

and this one doctor/patient success with diet and supplementation bringing her back from the brink of total disability to standing and speaking at a TED conference:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLjgBLwH3Wc

i don't know if these are the exceptions or the norm, but these are the things that got me really excited.

A fellow engineer has a wife who was diagnosed with MS for 11 years when she really had Lyme's disease. May even have gotten a false negative test earlier, but I'm not sure on that.

If you've been taking TNF blockers then medicine-induced MS is probably more likely, but it's good to consider alternative causes just in case...

Jean Seignalet is well know - had a link to a website that promoted his diet at one time. See what I can locate. Yes, he's really good.

BTW - my pvt doctor (UK) is AS plus MS. He takes LDN *and follows low inflammatory diet. NO red meats and etc etc.

http://seignaletdiet.wordpress.com/diet-basis/

http://paleozonenutrition.com/2011/04/01...disease-trials/

Seignalet is dead now - so sad when the best of the best die (we need em!). A google will bring up a ton of information and sites - some of the sites are in French, but above are in English.

Have fun diggin -

I hope you feel better soon, and that your symptoms go away and/or are significantly reduced when you stop Humira. I wish you all the best.

Thanks I don't know what I would do without the amount of knowledge here! It's invaluable. I already planned on looking into diet, it always plays a part, despite what some people think. All the good thoughts and prayers are very much appriciated.
I stopped eating so much dairy a while ago, I ate way to much. So finishing that off shouldn't be a problem. I eat as much organic as I can afford, and have never been a fan of processed foods. I was raised on whole foods, so they are just gross to me.

New research, probably only relevant to certain cases of MS (seems unlikely to be relevant to medicine-induced MS)

Sorry to hear that, I hope you get feeling better. I was on Enbrel when I was diagnosed with MS. They gave me three days of solumedrol right away. I took Avonex for about four years, but insurance changed and it is to expensive plus I think I was starting to have an allergic reaction to it. Good luck.

I am so sorry. I don't know much about MS, but I will keep you in my prayers.

Very sorry for your new's. Have they determined if it was caused by the TNF blocker? You are in my prayers and I pray that they find something to help you with your pain as you discontinue the Humira and that they find something to relieve your symptoms of the MS. Please keep us up to date so we know specifically how to pray for you and your family. God Bless.
