Mig,
I do ok, in regard to the power of positive thinking.
But my family here has always pulled me to dry land, when I thought I was drowning.
I have the funeral of an old family man in our community. It will be easy cause He did what he wanted, he loved and lived like the American dream.

thanks for taking the time...

You certainly have mastered the power of positive thinking! I'm pretty good at it too, not as good as you though. smile Having family to pull you to dry land is a huge comfort.

Easter and a funeral too... I just hope you will steal some time to rest!

Praying for you Lon that you make it to service. May the Holy Spirit bind you up with strength to get through it and may full and complete healing come soon. I'm with Mig, Ka does need a healthy Lon!

Lon - You is a tuffy. Good to learn that you are steadily coming out of the infection. Shoot man, can't take our eyes off of you!

Take care my friend - more power to both elbows and mind. Happy Easter -

Oh my goodness dear friend shocked2. I'm so thankful you are here to tell about it yes. I'm sorry I have been MIA again and just found your post. That is soooo scarry. Please take it easy. I know that isn't in your vocabulary, but now you've heard it enough from all here, so hopefully it will sink in.
I will continue to hold you in prayer. May you enjoy the celebration of the weekend. Sunday morning will be beautiful and sunny, all the more to rejoice about.
hugss

Lonnie, dear Lonnie, I'm so glad you're well enough to write this post and even make a joke at your own expense.

Please do take care of yourself, my friend. We need you here. Lin needs you at home. And I need your gently self-deprecating humour that fills my heart with warmth while it puts a wry smile on my face and a chuckle in my breath.

No pressure, eh.

Agape,
