someone i work with that has MS shared this with me:

a coat that you wear with tons of pockets,
so you don't need to carry a purse or bag.

she pointed it out when i was talking about how i can't lug all my stuff a quarter mile each way every day from the parking lot to my building at work. and a cart is out due to pulling one tearing my bicep tendon when i tried it.

so, instead:

http://www.scottevest.com/v3_store/Essential_Jacket_Women.shtml

look at the pocket map and xray view!

even an inside pocket for an ipad or small computer!

i'm getting one! roll

grin I don't know Sue, it still might be heavy on the front which might pull on the back. I tease my husband because he wears a Deluth men's vest and I call it his purse. It has a ton of pockets too.

Look's nice though. Might be good for just a short shopping spree. Expensive.

I have two Scottevest coats (a light one and a really heavy winter one) and think they are great. So many pockets for carrying everything you need.

Okay Sue,

Let us know what you think when you get it. I think it is a great looking coat. If it works well then I might have to get one!

Cargo pants have lots of pockets also. I wear them when I go sightseeing so I can keep my camera in one of the pockets, a water bottle in another, plus keys and stuff.

I'm so short that cargo pants look like MT Hammer pants on me. I never see any in petite sizes. That would probably help!

Check out this, the No Baggage Challenge:

Bo Baggage Challenge

Would be good for us Kickers as we don't have to lug around heavy suitcases etc....

very cool timo! cool2

thanks for passing it on! yes

i'm kinda the opposite when i travel. and i really do think about the irony of the situation. like on one hand i need to take more than the average person when i consider my pills, icebags, heating pad, therabands, foods, all my medical stuff, etc. and on the other hand, how lugging heavy bags around ends up hurting my body. and then wondering what i should do about it.

thus, this was a lot of fun to watch and think about! roll
