Thank you everyone - at least I know now and will get onto it.

I am not one for doctors - to be honest, it was four years ago that I went to the doctors initially complaining of my backache only to be sent away and told it was mechanical and I needed to swim. Four years later I went back because I was having to use my bedroom furniture to pull myself up out of bed every day and my husband had had enough. But like a lot of us, it improved during the day and with exercise and was only at night that I was pacing downstairs whilst the family were asleep. Thanks to the NSD I very rarely get up any more in the middle of the night. Although I have learnt in the morning to use my toes to get my clothes off the floor until my body wakes up!!!

Let down by the doctors still but this forum is a saviour for me.

Thank you again everyone.

My eye Dr. knows that even what looks slight to her is very painful to me. Her protocol is extensive but it kicks Uveitis quicker then my other Dr.s protocol. She believes in hitting it hard and fast. Steroid drops every hour for days and then a two week taper. These specialist don't play when it comes to Uveitis. If you even google it, it says to get to the e.r. a.s.a.p. My Dr. has me start the drops even before I make an appt. with her now. Since I started the Remicade with the Methotrexate I have been Uveitis free! Good luck, wear sunglasses outside and dim the lights on your t.v. if you have to.
