I've been through some strange and rough times through my life. Don't get me wrong, I wouldnt be without them, they are why I am who I am today. But they have forced me to think more about some things than maybe all people have to. As I am sure most of you have too.
You develop defense strategies in such situations, or you don't survive. For me one is an attitude to life, call it a motto, if you wish, but I suspect it means a litle more to me than for some.
I think I stole it partly from some poets, and frankly it doesnt matter to me who or if I did, but for me the guiding light has been these words for years;
I will not go silently into the dark
I will RAGE against the dying of the light

Hi, I am trying to go by this one not very succesfully though  It is better to have lived one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep. Tibetan saying. Also don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today. Make the most of every day you have because it may be your last.
