If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Molly, The Hyabak is brill. No contamination, filtered water only comes out of bottle, can't go back. I've used all sorts of pres free single dose drops in the past. Without a doubt these are the best. They contain 0.15% Hyaluronate. Give them a try. Think 1 bottle around £10 off the shelf. Free on prescript. I have all my tear ducts plugged, 2 bottoms first. No relief, more relief after tops done. Bit uncomfortable at times, especially tops. Worth it though. Going to have the two top ones permanently cauterised. I perm wear wrap around sunglasses, mainly cat4's, due to my right eye prob. So they give me some wind protection, I actually enjoy my eyes watering. makes a change. My eye sight good in both eyes, just painfull in bright light conditions, even with glasses on. Miss reading too. Can't read for long periods of time. Had no probs prior to the iritis flare. Soon as I awake, sunglasses on, untill I go to bed. Has been this way now for 3.5 years. Can't drive at night either, headlights a killer. I too suffer from a dry mouth. Just seen my GP, she gave me a prescript for some Arcoxia 90mg, as requested & some stomach inhibitors. Will stay on them for as long as my stomach can put up with them. Also going to try some lube drops for night use, bit thicker. Talked to her about LDN, she said it was up to my rheumy to make that decision. No surprise there then. I also spoke to hear about lightman. she didn't say no, but wasn't too keen, as I've already been to see Ayliffe. All down to cost you see.
I have an app to see my local Optham in a months time, she will dilate my pupils & have a good look at my eyes again. See what she has to say. Then I'll make a decision.
I'm happy with the A.S pain control I was gaining from Humira. If I do decide to come off Anti TNF for good, I will deff consider LDN.
That eye lid sticking of yours, sounds nasty. I usually have to fight to open mine in the morning, eye lashes usually stick together. As you say, hot towel to clean them helps. George.

I had this pre AS, from childhood. My doctors have me use a warm cloth to soften, and then scrub my eyelids with a q-tip dipped in tear free baby shampoo. I never get it anymore, but I still 'wash' my eyes with the baby shampoo, to be sure it doesn't revisit. Miserable way to wake up.

Iritis first diagnosed in 1991, presently recurrent and steroid resistant. Tested HLA B27 positive in 1996. AS diagnosed October of 2011.
Putting most of my eggs in the NSD and exercise basket, using only TENS, massage, heat and ice, and NSAIDS (sparingly) for pain. Drops for iritis as flare necessitates. Looking back I feel I would have been diagnosed with AS years ago, if I had found a rheumy earlier than 2011.
