If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Yay for your wife! Ear infections are the worst! I'm glad you're feeling better already. Didn't forget that antibiotics make you sensitive to the sun! Today I swam for 20 minutes and ride my bike 16 blocks. Go TEAM!

Hubby and I had an eventful weekend away on our own to 'bag' some Scottish Munroes. Unfortunately the Munroes were not willing. Picture this an almost 4,000m high staircase with a trig point at the top. That is what the mountain was like, straight up an unrelenting slope. The weather was forecast as sunny spells with snow and hail showers wind 20 - 30 mph with gusts of up to 40mph. We could cope with that. Unfortunately that was not quite the case. After a lot of effort we managed about 3,000 feet of that staircase before having to stop due to high winds as did everyone else that day who were trying to get to the top. Total distance not very much but lots and lots of effort. I also discovered that going up a steep slope and hunched down for the wind was a struggle for me when having to go up big 'steps' I couldn't lift my leg high enough without using my arm to help lift it! We were only 400m in horizontal distance from the top but never mind we can always go back another day. On our return the forecast had changed to gale force winds. Day two: this time we set out to do a walk not a summit! the weather was worse with an improving forecast but much lower winds. This time we turned back due to hard going in fresh slippy snow making the going slow and harder so that with our time constraints for travelling home we couldn't go any further. Eventful not because of our lack of summits but finding out the tent leaked waking up lying on a puddle both mornings luckily it didnt leak through the sleeping mats so only caught the bottom of our sleeping bags and most of our clothes for the following day were on our waterproofs so appart from the edges they were spared. The other trial was that it was so cold with the windchill that it had killed the battery in our keyfob for the car. Try finding one of those in the Highlands!!! Luckily one of the walkers who had also turned back on the windy day ferried us around until we located one Monday up hill as usual 'creak' long journey home in the car from the weekend not good for stiffness xx

Hi Team! I cut split and stacked a P.U. load of wood, by using the wheel borrow to get it in the back yard. Pulling dead branches from our hedge row.
lots of pain- but I did it. I have been swimming once.
We had a lot of snow Sunday. I used a shovel to clear a path for Lin before church.
Go team Go!

3 mile run this morning. Took a little different route this morning. With all the houses going in around me there is a lot more traffic now. I am trying to find a route with out all the traffic.
