On Saturday I was on the elliptical for 32 minutes. Today I was on the elliptical again for 31 minutes. I could not sleep so I went to the gym at 5:30am. The weather is great today, and I would have rather run outside.

Taught my last dance class tonight- just too much to handle. Planning to get to the pool soon. A flare hit this weekend and all of me hurts - hoping it doesn't last too long.

Yesterday 34 minutes on the elliptical. I am tired of the elliptical, so hopefully it dries out so I can run outside soon.

Ok, so now I've gained 15 lbs in the past 9 months, hardly worked out over the past few weeks, and now I'm in a stupid flare. eyes

But the GOOD NEWS is that I've been in such absurd self pity, that it's laughable. laugh2

Yesterday I swam 500 yds, after 3 days on 5 mg of prednisone. Now... yeah, HUGE swollen left sacrum joint.

So, NOW I have a 7 day pred planned with slow and easy swimming - probably a bit more dangling - and ice, heat, ice, heat. doh

But tomorrow is a new day! cheerleader

Thanks for checking in and logging your time. It makes me smile. grin

Go TEAM! clap

Erika I'm in the same boat. Gained about 6 but lost a ton of muscle, so it looks and feels like much more. I really haven't worked out in 9 months. Plus I've gone from being on my feet all day teaching to mostly sitting in a desk job. I'm starting a 6 day prednisone course tomorrow. My rheum also upped my humira to weekly injections so hoping that gives me enough relief in my feet to be able to start walking again. Good luck to you!!

Steve, great job on your runs! Inside or out that's something to be proud of!

Hi Everyone! grin

Good job moving it! roll

Last night I took 10 mg of prednisone, and I'm going to do a 7 day taper. Then this morning I took an extra 20mg of cymbalta. rainbow

Between me, Jamie, and Sue, we might be running the country out of prednisone this winter. grin

Steve, we're finally up to the mid 30s here! 1cup

Today I packed the truck with recycling to take this week, then cooked and fed dinner to our good friends. yes

OMGoodness I love modern medicine! cheerleader

So cold just don't feel like walking outside.

So, walked around the mall for awhile on saturday.

and lots of stretching, more than usual, as I deal with the neck / upper back stuff left over from the last flare.
