Agreed what you write about the source. I would also consider working with someone who is knowledgeable about Chinese herbs. This is fascinating information. One wonders why it may lead to "treatments"? Is not taking the herb good enough? Or is someone missing out on profiting at the expense of sick individuals? I know I would look to the herb, not something synthesized in a laboratory. We wonder why healthcare (sickcare) is so costly; this is one component of that large expense.

Great information, thanks. Ive been on TCM herbal remedies for other problems for a while and they seem well tolerated in my case.

You hit the nail on the head Jaybird. Nature gives us all the medicines we need, we just have to find it.. Then put it in a pill, market it, and make a tidy profit

One possible problem Zark, that one cannot 'find' the herb to take! I grow a lot of herbs in my garden and would grow more, if I could find the seed, herb to grow, and 2) that there is sufficient sun 'to' and right conditions 'to' grow etc etc
Yes indeed, nature does have the medicines out there, we just have to find them - before destroying em in our human wayward path of destruction...
