If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Well that's 5 of us today then! [video:youtube]Cute Baby Elephant Orphans Raised By British Students: http://youtu.be/WuxEP75186w[/video] Today I played soccer with little E - me with the vacuum hose and him kicking it back. That was a fun game! Then rode to my sister's and to the pool, swam 30 minutes. Snow and wind riding home... What is with this weird weather? Gooooooo TEAM!

Soooooooooooo.... yesterday I felt great. None of that sick disease-ee feeling. As such I walked the 7 blocks to the group I facilitate on Wednesdays. Then, as the sun was shining and the temp was just right, I decided to walk down to the veteran's art center which has free acupuncture each Wednesday. I made it exactly half way, took a rescue med while deep breathing so as not to vomit from pain on the sidewalk. Eventually I made it the rest of the way, got my treatment - lovely, and then realized nobody was coming to pick me up. Miscommunication. Sooooooooooooo then I walked the 9 blocks to my sister's house, who wasn't home, where my hubby eventually found me. I was in such a great mood! Then today I was mostly hobbled with stiffness & pain, and a rude woman at the drive through pharmacy made me cry, but I got in a nice swim afterward and felt much better. Later I sent a courteous & descriptive email to her employer suggesting she receive better customer service training. Go TEAM!

It is amazing how fast my battered body can go feeling pretty good to total crap. It always takes a lot longer to go back to feeling good. go figure, I took it easy this morning only 1/2 mile on the treadmill. I'm still recovering from snow removal duty. Mike

Saturday I ran 8.2 miles. It was a tough run, and one of my slowest times. The cover on my phone case came open, and my phone came out hit my foot then hit the ground. The front is all cracked now. Aside from the phone injury it took a lot of concentration to make sure my feet were hitting correctly.

Hi Everyone! Good job on keeping moving this week. I'm swimming every other day. Yesterday I was on the elliptical for 30 minutes, but my body just did not like the repetition. Going to try the light weight machines this week. Glad your foot isn't broken Steve! Nice to see you here Sue, Molly, Mike, Lon! Go TEAM!!!

Hi guys. Hope you are all well. Just here to say hello and for you to know that I haven´t forgotten and I want to be back on the forum and doing my exercises. At this moment I am doing owt (as Molly would say) and it doesn´t make me happy at all. My only excuse is that my girlfriend (who was really fit when I met her) is doing nothing either. So we are trying to persuade ourselves to do some exercise with a success rate of 0% so far Anyway I am painfree so fingers crossed I get back into exercise before the pain comes back and not vice versa. Apart from that life is treating me well (I´m not sure I deserve it) Thanks for listening and keep up the great work. I hope to be back on the forum with better news re my fitness sooner rather than later Go Team Go! Hasta la vista

I'm pathetic I walked "daily" for all of the first two days of the month! I have been "walking" more than nothing, but not going out and taking a walk, rather, walking to and from lunch, etc. But really, formal exercise, I need to get back on that horse bike. It is getting warmer, slowly....and so I will go out more I'm sure. (30 or 40 degrees F seems warm after a month (feb) of near zero degrees. today its actually warm enough that its raining instead of snowing....that's a change...it hasn't rained since dec? nov?....its been awhile. Too, going to a meeting soon, to a city where i'll need to do a lot of walking on concrete. Last time I went, before humira, could barely make it from the T to the convention center and then it was equally far (to the other end of the building, like ½-1 mile if I remember correctly....my feet were giving out, even on methylpred. but now I've got humira. though i think i may also take methylpred as my feet do ok on just humira, but i've had a wonky heel since september that i haven't been able to shake yet. maybe a round of methylpred (which i haven't taken since 08/13) will knock it out of me? methylpred used to fix other enthesitis problems back when i took it in the past. it'll only be a 6 day taper if i do take it. I'll ask the rheumy next week for advice when i see him. anyway, keep on walking, riding, moving, and i'll join in more habitually soon....

Hello Sue, Steve, Molly, Mike, Fergus, and Lon Did I miss anyone from this week? So... I started with a new pain specialist and after 1 visit I feel better than I have in years. She gave me micro-current that is kind of like tens but can't be felt. And lots of tiny injections of lidocaine and homeopathy (sp?) Just under the skin above neural ganglia. Yesterday I weeded for 1/2 hour and it was heaven just being able to kneel in the dirt. Today I swam 20 minutes and did all kinds of house work and prep for next week's group, meetings, and blanket building event. Both days I needed only half of the breakthrough med. And it didn't make me dizzy. Hope everyone is enjoying the spring/fall - Fergus it's fall there soon? Go TEAM!
