If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Happy Holidays to all my KA friends and family, new and old.
Days at work are usually mundane and predictable, things move pretty smooth, no "fires" to put out.
I was at a customer's house and needed to get a box of booties out of the back of the truck. I couldn't quite reach it so I got the little ladder out and attempted to reach it that way. I managed to reach it with little trouble and had them secure in hands, would be in the house in no time. I couldn't get out, was stuck and couldn't move. All I could think of is the fire department coming out and rescuing me, sure it would be a good laugh back at the fire house too. After bruising my back and ribcage I managed to push my self forward and get into the back of the truck then escape through the tailgate window.
I am still sore but I think I will survive. The bruises will heal but my dignity is a little scuffed.
I have to admit I thought of Lon while I was stuck, don't know why.

Jeff, that sounds uncomfortable. How long did it take you to extricate yourself? Good for you, though, Lon needs more people to cover his shifts.

Perhaps if the Jolly Gent in the Red Suit ever needs a stand-in we might suggest that he doesn't call you! Getting stuck in a chimney would be worse for the dignity! Especially in a cold climate where you risk getting a singed rear end! Hope your bruises subside soon.

Have no clue. <grin> Glad you are only slightly bummed. If you were truly distressed and embarrassed, you likely would not have told us. I'm not able to visualize this predicament. But, Merry Christmas anyway!

Does sound like you were trying to do a different take on the father christmas down the chimney story! Glad you got out again with minimal damage. Guess you won't be trying that again though.

Jeff, you thought of Lon because it sounds like something he would do, sorry Lon. I do hope there are no physical reprocussions today from you little mishap.

Couldn't believe you were the originator of the post Jeff - well, I mean, ALL the hallmarks of a Lon story.. I had to read and re-read to ensure it was not Lon in disguise ! Then I thought, mebbe Lon is needing a 'Christmas special' standin for his comedy enterprises (Hi Lon - ducking).
Heigh, man, glad y're OK. Bruises will soon go - try some Arnica. Cream as well as oral and, can put in tub of hot waster. Will help disperse bruises.
Take care -

I just hope you are not too sore tomorrow. I had some problems this morning when I tried to get a dish from way back in the corner of my bottom cupboard. I had to get down on my hands and knees. I was able to reach the dish, but when I tried to get up, I was grabbing on to the counter top with one hand and a shelf with the other. When I tried to straighten my legs, nothing happened. For a few minutes, I thought I was going to have to call the family for help. If I did, the grandchildren would be there with their cameras... I finally made it up, but it was not a pretty sight.
