Not sure if palm is the same as coconut, but I do know the stuff tastes awesome! _________________________ Lauren S.

inkyfingers Silver_AS_Kicker Registered: 04/08/09 Posts: 1489 Loc: Melbourne, Australia	Palm sugar can be extracted from either the Palmyra (sugar) palm or coconut palm in most Asian countries.It is dried/cooked sap from the buds/flowers. The one from the sugar palm is usually a dark caramel colour whilst CCN plam sugar is more of a honey colour - either way - YUM! _________________________ Louise
