water temperature 69F/20C
(actually UP from last week, when it was 64F/17C) !!!

I have a few questions..
the older I get the harder the water seems, so much harder when I dive, is it me? Why does the splach go clear to the outer walls
The older I G. the locker rooms seem to be filled with mere kids, very few grey hairs, is it me?
The low diving board is much thinner and higher in the air, is it me?
Dow, those life guards, the cute ones seems like mere children.... the guys look like they should be by their mothers side. the parking lots are so much bigger and the walk farther..
Dow, the mirrors in the Rec C. are those funny mirros like at the carvival; they make me look very short, pot bellied, and umh, ugg, heavy and thick.
all the machines seem to groan when I drag my large self up on them. older people offer to help me step up on the machines, now, how very nice.. Dow, please tell me that it is not me, oh, please???
Dow, why would I need an X-large size towel now?

Rode my bike 7.8 miles in about 75 minutes. Been having a lurking migraine the past two days. I suspect Nutella dangitall!

Ah, brother Lon of the eternal profundity, I will have to reflect on these as I ponder the extreme depths of not only your queries but the bottom of our shallow four foot deep pool--
Could it be that you have mistakenly presssed the reverse button on your DVD player, and you err in thoughts that your volume increases while in truth you are only becoming younger, stronger and skinnier with each passing day??

Today I swam 1,000 yds in my usual 30ish minutes. Wondering how Steve's marathon is going.  Go TEAM!  P.S. I really want a recumbent bike....
