walked 1.5 miles, 30 minutes

an overcast day, but at least very little rain to hamper my walking.

and continues to be cooler, which is fine for walking.

I'm really happy! Today my doctor agreed to let me go off of oxycodone and try something different! grin That stuff makes me feel so gross sick - as you all know I've whined and moaned about this repeatedly. yes So, she's trying me on tramadol for breakthrough pain, and morphine for flares. Now that I have my migraines under control, and since the desert climate is being so good for me, hopefully the flares will be farther and fewer between. grin

Okay. Now for the exercise portion of my day.
I swam 1,000 yds in 31 minutes.

Go TEAM! clap

BTW, this week is Suicide Prevention Week, and Saturday at 8pm - for World Suicide Prevention Day if you feel inclined, you can light a candle in memorial of my daughter. heart

Peace to you all. rainbow

Ran 19.11 miles this morning in 3 hour 33 minutes. The last 5 miles were rough, and slow.

OK guys I did 2000metres in 55minutes this evening. It was sooooo nice to get back to the pool.
Will try to light a candle tonight but am going camping in the forest and naked flames are strictly forbidden at this time of year.
So I will do it the next evening when I am back at home.

hi erica,

if you see this before tonight, what scents were your daughter's favorites. i have tons of yankee samplers. would she have liked foral, fruity, nutty, herbal, spicy, etc?

-------------------------

had a weird "headcold" the last few days, so yesterday i saved my energy to recuperate. no nasal congestion, but lots of internal congestion which gave me a killer migraine. earache, sinus pressure so face hurt, throat involved. think laying down to sleep allowed congestion to cause the headaches as the mornings when i woke were the worst. but slept the whole night in the recliner last night sitting up and everything so much better this morning. hubby has it too and is slowly getting better. think the LDN allows me to fight things a bit faster. so today will take a slow little walk, still not 100% but getting there.

So... today was my first trial of tramadol. OMGoodness, it's MUCH better than oxycodone. No dizzyness. It did handle the pain quite well. I am very clear headed. No sign of serotonin syndrome... but I'm WIDE AWAKE 8 hrs after taking 50mg. Not a nod in sight. I feel like a drank a pot of coffee each hour. Hmmmm... confused I dunno. I guess I'll try the morphine next week. I was really hoping for a med that isn't so regulated, because it's irritating to have to go to the doctor every 6 weeks when there is NOTHING wrong with me other than arthritis.

I swam 1,000 yds in 30ish minutes today.

Go TEAM! clap
