Back from Portland, and we have smoky skies. I don't know where the smoke is coming from now. I went to the gym and did the elliptical for 28 minutes.

@Lon, Seaside was great there was a lot of people there. There was a beach volleyball tournament going at the beach. The Ape case are some lava tubes. I went on the lower tunnel, and then sent my sons on the upper tunnel. They said the upper tunnel is much harder, and you have to climb over and around boulders, and walls.

Walked yesterday with a friend, walked today with another friend, busy talking, not a familiar path, no watch, so no idea the time or distance. but walking and talking with friends is always nice.

My wrist GPS is dead:{, it will not turn on. This morning I ran about 2.5 miles.

Thank you for slacking. It makes me feel better for slacking aswell. I was in the pool today doing a very leisurely 1000 metres when I realised that I am being a little immature about everything at the moment.

I am opening a new business (my first) and am feeling sorry for myself with all the bother I have to put up with. I have been slacking with the exercise and SMOKING BLOODY CIGARETTES. I gave up 5 and half years ago.

Under the water it dawned on me that my attitude is rather infantile. Time to wise up and get back to what I like.

Swimming is great for thinking and setting things straight.

Go team go go go go!!!!! NO SLACKING

Did 1,100 metres in the pool today. Itīs downright hot here. There are 7 islands here. 2 of them are ablaze at the moment. No rain in winter and now this heat is a horrible cocktail. Let`s hope they get them out very soon and hope that others donīt start.

Today's run 10 miles in the canyon (lots of traffic in the canyon today). It took 1 hour and 45 minutes.
