If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

> ARTHRITIS: > Arthritis patients may take daily, morning and night, one cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured. In a recent research conducted at the Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon Honey and half teaspoon Cinnamon powder before breakfast, they found that within a week, out of the 200 people so treated, practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain, and within a month, mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain. (I have me doubts!!) What is a small teaspoon? Is it tiny or something? A teaspoon is a teaspoon is a teaspoon.

well, that's not good! must say an entire teaspoon of cinnamon seems like an awfully large amount. when i put a little into a cup a tea, into my applesauce, etc, its really just a sprinkle, like 1-2 teaspoons total into an entire pot of applesauce. as for it bothering you. are you bothered by starch? think i remember others talking about it being starchy, though i really don't know. someone last night was telling me that weight for weight its about as high antioxidant as anything, i'm gonna go do some googling, see what i can find out.........

some more info and a few more cinnamon and honey links: 1. in wikipedia it says: One teaspoon of cinnamon contains as many antioxidants as a full cup of pomegranate juice and 1/2 a cup of blueberries.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinnamon2. http://www.healthdiaries.com/eatthis/10-health-benefits-of-cinnamon.htmlincludes the info you posted molly about the cinnamon and honey for arthritis see if i can find a mechanism to explain....... 3. http://www.angelfire.com/az/sthurston/honeyandcinnamon.htmlone difference of opinion: irradiation kills microbes, does not damage the chemicals in the irradiated foods, spices, etc. chemically the claim that the irradiation changes the chemical composition is scientifically inaccurate. however, the different "cinnamons" are different chemicals, so it is important to be consuming the proper active chemical components. thanks molly for kicking this off.........still think wow, that's a lot of cinnamon! a reasonable amount of honey, easy to have that amount of honey, but 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, a lot and pretty expensive too, if buying the good stuff like i do. my favorite brand of herbs and spices is "simply organic", the quality and taste is far superior to most of the brands food in the spice isle of the grocery store. anything i can get in that brand, i do. like the almond extract is real, only brand i've found that is real rather than just chemical ester flavoring. and we buy and eat local honey, mostly to support the local farmers, but now can see that store bought could contain other things added. when we lived in virginia, we had our own beehive and got some honey from that. it was the best tasting honey i think i've ever eaten. the hive was at the edge of the woods and i think it was mostly tree flower honey, so like basswood or tupelo honey, only even better, IMO.

Reporting in on my cinnamon and honey experiment. Yesterday I woke up in vomiting pain, but it was localized at the right sacrum, at around 4am. Then slept almost all day, but have had level 0-1 pain since then. Now I'm drinking my morning cup of cinnamon and honey. It seems like it works... stay tuned for day 4.

Hi Erica,
I was under the asuumption that cinnamon is a starch. Could that be why you flared so much?
Anyone have thoughts on if we are on NSD should we try this remedy?

I think cinnamon is a starch. But that being said, it never ceases to amaze me how we all react so differently to different foods. Sometimes I wonder if the good from the cinnamon might outweigh the bad/starchy part, especially if cinnamon has a bad effect on klebsiella, like oregano oil or tea tree oil, for example.
