So... It turns out the whole Purpose of Masters swim is to increase torque while turning, to improve arm position, and to increase speed by kicking harder with the upper thigh/groin muscles. After I explained to the coach what I had to do to keep from injuring myself wenagreed that Masters isn't for me. Anyway... Yesterday I swam 1,000 yds in 35 minutes.

Go TEAM! clap

hi sue!
sorry been MIA. so tired and sore. i'm looking for a new rheumy thats closer to me. i love my rheumy but the traffic is horrendous out loop 1604. mad2

oh, guess what? they had a report on the news today of a guy vandalizing the next block on our street! they got a camera shot from a neighbors home. he was slashing tires, vandalizing. i strongly suspect that was the individual! no but big ol' bubba has been patrolling alot more at night so we've had no more incidents thankfully! yes extra doggie treats for him! lol

oh yes..my yellow bells are blooming already!! so excited! heart i hate humidity. the barometic pressure is torture. we had severe thunderstorms today though. i was miserable last night. but glad we had the rain..much needed! rainbow
take care sue!

hi folks!
last week : mon: km cb: 60 min
tues: Km1: 60 min
wed : Km1: 60 min
: Km Cb:60 min
Thur: Km1: 60 min
Mon : Km1: 60 min
Wed : KM cb:60 min
Thurs: KM1: 60 min

Sorry I've been MIA...so tired from the humidity and swollen joints. My toes have been giving me so much grief. I cant bend my right toes without horrible stiffness and pain. Motrin and norco. And lots of sleepless nights. no

On the plus side--hubby got me a beautiful handpainted colorful ceramic birdbath for mother's day! Kiddos got me a texas lilac. And we got 2 more yesterday. I never had a Texas lilac...but they get big and are drought tolerant!! clap They smell so beautiful. And with the thunderstorms today...they'll shoot out soon enough! I need to post pics tomorrow!
Go team!! clap

Hi everyone!
My PC packed in last month so have not been online for weeks.
Hope you are all OK.
I may have lost my (unbacked up) stats spreadsheet - so have a bit of work to do!
Take care hope to be on regularly again once we are up and running.

Today I swam 1,200 yds in 35 minutes.

Tonight we attended the NAMI fundraiser here in CO at Chick-Fil-A and, as first time diner there, I have to say it was pretty good for fast food. I had a southwest grilled chicken salad.

Tomorrow the KRC4LIFE team walks for NAMI-Greater Seattle. Their goal is to raise awareness of the stigma against people with mental illness, and to raise funds for NAMI StigmaBusters.

Go TEAM! clap
