If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello I thought that I would check in and see how things are with everyone. Things have been a little crazy/hectic with me since I was last here. My AS is flaring up and the meds don't seem to be working . It seems that I have this problem with them they work for awhile and then boom they stop with no warning. I am suffering it out. Of couse it could be because of everything that is going on.. I finished with the fund raising for the school trip for my nice. She went and came back safe and sound and absolutely loved Washington . I survived the shopping trip for her prom gown which was a real treat . One of the stores that we went into the sales lady told her that she was at least a size 8 and had her trying on all these dresses that were way too large for her and when she said so was told that is all right we have a seamstress on staff and it can be altered. ( she is about 5 ft tall and may weigh 100lbs she is not a size 8). The next store we went to she found the gown she wanted in about 5 min The next week we went shopping for shoes . I survived that trip as well . Now of course is the planning of her grad party. It would be a little easier if her mother told me when it was and what she would like me to do . I don't mind helping but my other sisters are driving me crazy wanting details which I tell them I don't have and to phone my other sister and find out . ( of course they don't)
Then amongst all this we are told at work that things are being scaled back and by the first of July there will be only about 100 employees left and that is only until 2013. I am taking that day by day to see what happens.
I still have not gotten the official results of the scan of the gallbladder . I did phone the specialist office a couple of times and was told that they would phone me back within a few days . This was over 1 month ago and still no phone call. In the meantime I had other attacks and decided that I was giving up all meat and anything else that seems to bring on an attack . Which of course doesn't help my low iron and hemoglobin. And then there is the wonder if my hip is on the recall list. I haven't heard anything reg that and I decided that I am not calling the surgeons office. I figure that if I don't ask then it will not be on the list. And yes my left hip drives me crazy at times
Then Tuesday I get a call at work from my Mother. She was on her way to an appointment and her and my Father were in an accident. Thankfully the only thing that got hurt was the car. I am still watching the 2 of them like a hawk to make sure but they are fine.
And then I wonder why my meds don't seem to work. I think that I need a really vacation away from everything ..I know that things could be worse and I am thankful that they aren't .
Thanks for letting me ramble. I hope that everyone is doing great.
Take care Valerie

Val it's good to hear from you!!
You do have a ton going on, don't you. Sounds like you had fun with your niece. I'm glad to hear it. I love shopping with my nieces!
I'm glad to know your parents are OK, but sorry to hear about the uncertainty at work.
And I wish dearly that you were getting answers on the gallbladder issue. Dear god. How long are you supposed to be patient with this???!
Warm hugs,
Kat

Hi Kat I am so relieved that they are all right. Now the tie up is with the insurance company but a car is replaceable . I love spending time with the girls. While the oldest was away on her trip I called her sister and told her I was picking her up from school and we were going to lunch.. When I picked her up I told her to call her parents and have them call her off for the afternoon because I wasn't taking her back. We spent the whole afternoon together and we had so much fun together.
I agree with you on the gallbladder. I am thinking of taking it out myself. I may have to get someone to hold a mirror .
Take care Valerie
