If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Chris, we have water in places there has not been water for a while. but not flooding yet. As far as the Ark is concerned. It is on MOlunt Ararat Marco Polo has seen it, many hae climbed close to it but terrible weather had hampered the excursions. Also the nation ofg Turkey is not in favor of us making a big deal about it..
I hope you get out side this weekend.

Lisa, it is funny. I want others to laugh.. we would not wish this on anyone, but since it happened to me, let's get some giggles from it.
More oozing today. get my clothes wet, but I have a lot of cheap stuff around. So how are you??
The dog offered to lick, but I passed on that!!

It's hard to believe it is still snowing in some places. I have most of my tomatoes planted, a doz Romas, 6 Celebrities, 6 Brandywines, a grape tomato, a black Krem and a black plumb. I have my lettuce, onions, swiss chard, spinach, cabbage, beets, Brussels sprouts and other stuff I can't remember planted last fall. Lots of good eating. I still need to plant the peppers, green beans, cucumbers, melons, squash and corn. I have 10 lbs of seed potatoes but I need to get the girls to prepare me some more garden space before I can plant them. My biggest problem is that I can only do a little bit at a time, before the joints start complaining I am trying to get as much of our homegrown food that can be canned, frozen or dehydrated for the rest of the year, I hate most of the stuff that I find in the stores, Most of the canned good have stuff in that I don;t want to feed my family. When you add in the way food costs are going up, it is best to have a full pantry for our family and for people in our church. Some of our elderly are having a hard time.

Hi Avon, Yea, it can be cold here. But I guess we enjoy summer all the more. Nice sunny day, but with it freezing every night I am a ways from being able to plant. I would love to do what you are saying.
Your garden sounds good.

We miss the beauty of the snow, but then we don't have to shovel it.
How is the burn doing? I am thinking it will take some time before it heals up.

Donna, Thanks for your heartfelt kindness.
Update - five days later Lin took me in because I had a huge swelling in my neck, pain down both arms. in my ER bed finally this gal wanted to know why I was in there, I told her about my excruciating neck pain, she suggested I lay down. I tried to lay down and she made of fun of me. My wife told her I had 3 degree burns on my stomach and leg, "what". She pulled on my gown, swore, pulled my under-shorts to get a good look at the damage done to my upper leg and then snapped my under shorts like they were some sort of sling shot! She, wanted to know how long I was in the hospital with these burns, I said not at all. She hit me in the face with her charting papers. "why not?" I told her that I had far worse pain that 80 inches of 3rd degree burn!! Most people just do not get how bad this AS crap can hurt! They filled me full of drugs. I went home for 3 hours. I had a huge swelling on my neck, at 1:00 in the morning I told Lin I need to go to the emergency again. This time Dr. said I will use morphine, valum, and ________ and put you to sleep for a bit. 3 hours later I am standing with my head against wondering what I have to do to get some help. He said most men would have been alseep for a day after the first round. I asked him if he knew about A.S.; D.I.S.H... "no he said, not really". I never did sleep, he said he had no more to give me, but did send me home with 9 meds; yep 9. They are like candy as far as pain relief. Linda said what about the bulging disk: "what, did you say you had pain down both arms"? "I guess I missed that". It aint easy being me. I get chewed for not being in the hosptial with 3rd degree burns, but when I do go in, they donot listen to what I Have to say. That old nurse can't help being old, it happens when you just keep getting up every day, But jeepers snapping my shorts against those burns did stretch my pedigree a little bit. Thanks for listening. I love this place, and I love our family here. there is non better. Br'er Lon

Maybe I'll visit that ER when I come to see you. I'll strap that big Remington .44 cal cap and ball revolver to ny hip and thigh Old West style and suggest the staff learn politeness and competence.
I'm sorry for your pain, my friend. Hope it passes quickly.
Shalom aleichem,
John
