If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

It is great fun, I am trying to figure out how to go skiing tomorrow. It is snowing today. I don't think I will make it.

Yesterday and today I swam 2,250 total yards. I'm about 1/2 faster since that lifeguard showed us how to improve our stroke. Go TEAM!

Monday & Tuesday stats: ZERO, Zilchola! Spent Sunday night with Art and the wee bugs at the ER. I had the allergies but things got bad Saturday. I had the cough worse. Thought it was a sinus infection. Wrong! Turns out I have bronchitis, asthma, laryngitis, and Strep! The doc was very kind but didnt give me the breathing treatment. He did give me a double high dose steroid shot to bring down the swelling in my bronchial tubes. And a pak of Zpak antibiotics. Started that night. Woke up still feel terrible. Art called up our family doc who asked if they did a chest xray which they didnt. He was upset and said I needed to go back AND get breathing treatments and a chest xray. This time he sent me to his hospital he works out of. I went there first sunday but it was jam packed. Away I went. They bumped me up b/c my blood pressure was a bit high for buggie. 142/90. I always have low blood pressure... 105-110 top number. They said the asthma was okay but there was some lapsing? in my back ribs when i was breathing? Not sure what that means. I think they werent expanding correctly. I think thats because of the secondary interstitial lung disease no thanks to the AS monster. I ended up getting 3 breathing treatments. And they gave me codeine cough syrup script, and refill of albuterol for my nebulizer at home. I will NEVER take codeine cough syrup again! first and LAST time! Not only did it wire me up and I got no sleep, but I didnt stop coughing and I was seeing all kinds of lovely rainbows while laying in bed. No groovy feeling so I was not a happy camper. Slept all day today. Doc called in another pak of zpak for me to take. Still feel really cruddy. In bed. Run out of breathe just simple sentences with wee ones. But it's hard b/c Art was off already when he hurt his back so he cant take time off. Hoping tomorrow is a better day. My chest hurts so much. Hadnt had bronchitis in about 4 yrs now. Mix that with gerd and asthma and thats very scary stuff. So I root for you all from bed....go team..cough cough...gooo team!!

saw the frowny face before i even clicked open the thread, so knew things weren't good, sorry to hear the trouble you've been having! hope you are better soon. funny how different we respond to various meds. had codeine one time in college for pain. it did nothing for the pain, but made me sleep for days straight, literally couldn't stay awake on it. got bored with sleeping almost 24 hours a day for several days so i stopped the codeine. pseudofed had me wired like you described, bouncing off the walls when normally i marathon sleep when sick. anyway, hope to see a smiley face from you soon
