To make up for Saturday I ran 9.1 miles this morning. I was kind of slow it took 1:40 minutes. The first 7 miles were not bad, but the last 2 were hard.

Thanks Tink!
Ouch, too long in a chair and having to use my walker just to get around in the house. Time for bed again. tongue4

I only have one more day to rest up for my next class on Thursday...I'll let you know if I make it! smile

Yesterday I swam 1,100 yds in 40 minutes, and the day before I walked 1 mile... but it was more of meander, because I was with my husband, three of our nieces, and their 7 children ~ watching the Main Street reconstruction project and some of the old installations of Grand Junction Art on the Corner

This morning my sister-in-law started talking to one of the lifeguards and he showed us a MUCH easier way to breathe while swimming. So, today I swam 1,300 yds in 45 minutes.

Go TEAM! clap

Edit Reason: added today's swim

hi sue! thanks! heart ohhh yes...that sounded great! lemon and orange trees! rainbow my mom has a dwarf lemon tree in back. i have a peach tree too! the buds are popping out already. heart the same thing happened last spring to me! the peaches look like they'll topple over the branches! laugh2 i bought mine at this nursery not too far from home. they also had grapefruit trees and orange trees. since the yuccas didnt make it i am contemplating getting two more citrus trees to fill in the two spots. Art actually agreed. The scent on them is so soothing! heart

I miss planting myself. These hands of mine simply cant do it anymore. And I get stuck on the ground. I only survive KM because the floors are so heavily padded. crazy But I do enjoy watering and tending to them as much as I can. rainbow

Ohhh..photographing the sunset..how nice! heart
Take care sue! hugss

Monday stats: KM CB: 60 min
Tuesday: KM 1: 60 min
Hello friends! hugss
OMG---kids decided they wanted to meet with Sofia's best friend at Skateland. Needless to say my son didnt know how to skate. 3 hours later and my son knew how to roller boogy! laugh2 I wasnt very coordinated as a child. I was very clumsy. But for some reason I could skate. laugh2 My son almost fell about 500x--the first hour alone. But I kept him up. He got upset and wanted to give up. The rink got busy after the 2nd hour and I just decided to take him off the rails. We survived! He even played "wipeout" with sofie's best friend's older brother! clap He decided he liked the song "Carwash" laugh2 pimp

All in all a fantastic day! --But I will never follow up with KM again! eek2 My hamstrings are hurting today! sick1 Seeing my son smiling and laughing was worth it though! heart Besides Sunday is my kids other family friends skating birthday party--and Art cant skate at all. So it was good to practice after 27-28 yrs! laugh2
Goooo team!!

oh goodness gracious tink! laugh2 this is what happens when buggy has taken some tylenol pm the night before and is half awake when posting! roll

even if we are doing something simple, its always crazy tink with three young buggies! its because i have a teenager who has her own busy little social life, then my middle child who is enjoying having friends over. and little man--he's a go with the flow kind of little guy. except yesterday when he announced to all of us that he is a "werewolf". eyes he said he is certain the scratch/bite [not a bite-but he swears it is] on his left leg was from a werewolf. but not to worry-we're all safe during the day. and he wont bite me because i'm his mom. sigh. the mind of a 7 yr old boy! rainbow gotta love it! floor

take care tink!

Monday playing ground games with chum's wee pony. Good gal, let me 'eventually' wipe her eyes (my, was she nervous of that white kitchen roll!) Got her to back up on command and...dada...she let me hang the lead rope over her ears; So that was all pretty good. Another session on Sat.

No physio yesterday - I got into a total muddle with time. What a clonker. Turned up for my session and my poor fella was at lunch. Did feel a right...

Today. Driving pony at equestrian centre...annnuled. Monsieur had broken his foot! No, not horse accident, (so said the woman at the reception) but at his home. So, nowt till April.

Today, afternoon, 3hrs in garden. Clearing up debris and removing cat poop from my veggie patch. Hmmmm Do NOT feel much like planting owt in it now. Was a heck of a lot of $£!t to clear (ger-yer) Flippin sack of it!

So, that's me guys!

Oh yes, chucks were happy for comnpany, chatted to me all afternoon. They enjoyed the weeds I gave em - they don't eat ALL varieties of weeds, just some of em. But they do *love company.

Birds nesting in the sweet myrtle. Very busy busy blackbird. She has a nice snug - just hope the neighbour's two cats don't find the nest. They are pests of the first order of magnitude. Bold as brass - typical cats!
