ah, palm springs sounds so nice about now.......we're to get about a foot of snow today and the wind is howling outside as we speak! but i have nowhere to go today, canceled my chiro appointment, hunkering down to spend the day grading, so thankful i can do that and don't have to go in today to teach. smile

TGIF !!
Thursday stats: KM1: 60 min
Yahoo! We got to play outdoors yesterday! Free advertising we said! roll Our instructor loves the outside over inside temps so out we went. Awesome with the breeze. Of course when we were done I was sweating like a little piggy! crazy laugh2

Hope everyone has a super weekend! Hoping to get out to G's school this weekend if I cant get into sat morning class. Weather a little warmer so it makes it a bit easier to get myself up and shuffling! I'll have to post a pic of my new cool KM nylon pants. I still need a tee but they run out super fast in my size. Take care!!!

Gooooo team!! clap

yesterday, walked 1 mile 20 minutes

it's always nice to walk right after a snow storm when everything is covered in white. snowflake1 they plowed the road so walking along the side of it was easy.

This morning I ran 7.1 miles in 1:12. Then I did 2 miles on the elliptical. It was snowing, but just lightly. The snow was not sticking to the ground.

Tuesday: walk 4 miles (80 minutes)
Wednesday: walk 4 miles (80 minutes)
Thursday: walk 2 miles (40 minutes)
Friday: walk 2 miles (40 minutes)
Saturday: bike 15 miles (70 minutes)

I don't think I'll do anything tomorrow. I'm just going to take it easy as tomorrow is the ol' prep day before the colonoscopy...yippee!

Today I swam 1,000 yds in Palm Springs. Outdoors, surrounded by desert mountains and palm trees - with the smell of lemon tree blossoms heavy in the air because of yesterday's rain. Sigh....

oh, that sounds so lovely! i can almost smell the lemon blossoms from here smile

today, walked 1.5 miles, 30 minutes.

mid 30 F temps with no wind or precipitation i think is the perfect weather for walking, not too cold, but good fresh air to breathe in snowflake1

i remember when i used to run back in high school that this was my favorite running weather as well yes

Hi everyone!
Kids had a family fitness day at their elementary school! The theme was "are you fitter than a 5th grader?" rainbow I was draagging due to the humidity! 86 degrees in february!! anywho, they had 4 sections for us to complete. sprinting for a few minutes, planks and pushups in 3 minutes. my son would look over at me and couldnt stop laughing. he was quite a sight! laugh2 principal was even there busting a sweat! yes they had us go into a sitting position with our back against the wall and slide down for 3 minutes. that is ONE thing i could NOT do. i may love krav..but this bug's spine and neck are a big ol mess. so i cheered on instead! roll

we got loads of free healthy snacks and drinks. they had a raffle for the kids and both wee bugs won a tote bag with a huge kick-ball type ball to play with for spring time! and a free meal coupon and a couple of action figures! adult raffle was fun too! i won a tote and a lunch foldable cooler and a free chik fila voucher too!

i woke up today and took the kids to meet up one of my best friends and her kids to see "Gnomeo and Juliet". i was thinking why am i so sore!!? crazy Well worth it...we were out there keeping the sweat going for a good hour and a half! rainbow

Gooo team!!!
