If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Thanks Moll! Pups are terrific indeed! Very entertaining! I agree--it was meant to be! They have the most beautiful thick short plush coats. They look like like a little black bear and a beige polar bear! LOL Art and I went to the feed store on Monday and picked up all kinds of free dog food samples and parvo shots for them to get this friday. they also sold us a very effective spray to treat the yard for fleas and ticks in the front yard. Too many strays sadly in the neighborhood. Even though our front and back yard are fenced, the front yard is the one they pass through and it's terrible come spring through summer. So we'll be on top of things again this year. Take care my friend!!

(30 minutes stretching today.)
Loved that article Sue! Eye opening for sure.
I was totally thinking about how moving around a little does help us to feel better, Lath. I used to be a bank teller when I was in college. THAT is a perfect occupation for an AS-er. You can stand or sit, walk here, walk there, and keep moving.
I remember flaring one night last winter in my right hip/thigh and I had to get out of bed and sit in the rocker and rock the night away, because that was the only thing that helped.
Well I reduced my anti-inflams by 1/2 last night and still managed to get out of bed this morning. Yeah baby. I've been a valient little NSD/no sugar girl since Saturday night. The real test will be in the days to come. I am exercising again so I have stiffness etc, and sometimes I don't know what "kind" of pain it is, like exercise good pain, ate some unknown sugar/starch pain, reducing meds pain....hmmmmmmmmmm. Its not pain, who am I kidding. It's more uncomfortable-ness that wears off with activity. I'm feeling really good now that I'm back on the diet. The trick is to wean slowly off the anti-inflams to avoid a flare. My guts are shredded and my heart does weird things while I'm on the two anti-inflams. Scary, eh?
The only bit of bad news is that my feet are really hurting even today on a off day. Just standing there my toes go numb so I've been icing the darn Morton's Neuromas/plantar fasciitis today. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Can't a girl have any fun?

Donette said: "I've been icing the darn Morton's Neuromas/plantar fasciitis today" Donnette - there is probably some starch in that icing, especially if it is some sort of store bought cake mix.. never really thought about frosting my toes..... ah, I love it here. excuse the off the wall stuff ok. I just got to get some endorphins going.. I wish you the very best with the NSD!!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm frosting. What? Where am I??? Must have blacked out for a second. Uh oh, what's this pink stuff on my lip??? lol. Lon, you crack me up. Hit the 60 minute class again today. Circuit training. 5min strength/5min cardio. Did some kick boxing today! Kind of scary. Kind of fun! Babied my feet today. Lot of squats in place of impact moves. Feeling better every day. I do the push ups against the wall. My right wrist is fused in a slightly forward curved position, it has kyphosis. Ha! Makes push-ups anywhere difficult, but who cares. I'm there. And today, a couple of beads of sweat on my forehead. Progress. Slow and steady wins the race.

Can totally understand that Sue. My best times are when I am away from home on a work trip - the combination of short driving, short meetings, lots of short distance walking, plus not having to make my bed or cook my dinner works great for me. I eat really simple lo carb, and salad lunches, etc. Generally come back home after a week away feeling really good.
No gym yesterday - evening meeting instead. I miss it. 2 km on the exercise bike at home instead today. Gym again tomorrow.

yeh, that article is a good one.
speaking of rocking chair, president kennedy used a rocker because he had triggerpoints and myofascial pain and the rocking helped him. dr travell, one of the authors of the "myofascial pain and dysfunction; trigger point manual was his doctor.
reading that, i bought a rocker. being short, i found the perfect rocker for me, a very low turn of the century rocker. its pretty too, old quarter sawn oak, darkened varnish. the leather seat was missing, so bought one through one of those catalogs of old house stuff, tacked it in myself, well, with the help of hubby. its pretty and functional, a nice place to sit, when not on my swapper chair or the recliner; that rocker has a nice view out our big bay window overlooking the back garden, back yard.
have another rocker in the bedroom that my mom bought me years ago, sit in that when i'm folding the laundry and putting it away.
rockers are awesome.
as for pain, i can tell the difference between good sore pain and bad inflammatory or muscle spasm / adhesion pain. the sore pain is localized and doesn't press on the nerves and well, its just good pain vs bad pain. the chiro's breaking up the adhesions cause that good pain, that soreness similar to what one gets from exercise. and makes the bad pain, muscle spasms and nerve pain (due to being pressed by spasming muscles and adhesions) go away. i can really feel the difference.
glad your diet is working! i need to modify my diet further, not so much for the arthritis, but more for blood sugar and cholesterol, still needs more work!

oh i know what you mean about working trip. when i go to a conference like once a year, in a city, lots of walking around the city, at my best, think if i lived in a city and walked everywhere, that would be so much better for me. i get better and better the further i can walk. except if when i go, anything in the bottom half of me is flaring. but if not, then all that walking is so good.
