If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

i asked a couple of the instructers and they said i could modify to the lowest weight. in the km bag it's 1 lbs that i use. you would think it's nothing but its helped me immensely. You know what's crazy? I just met a new fitness instructor who's taken all the arthritis foundation exercise classes and she's going to help me. In exchange for being her demo during her arthritis swim classes. I guess she's just going to point to me and say "see, now she can walk"... I don't know.

Yesterday I thought I was superwoman and decided to go to two social events in a row, both of which I had to sit through. So... I managed to swim 1,000 yds in 45 minutes, but as I also had to take 1/2 a pain pill... my flip turns were somewhat uncoordinated. At one point I actually fell on the bottom of the pool in the shallow end and bruised my hand and elbow. I have absolutely no idea how I managed that but my husband sweetly said that maybe I should just stop and push off for a the rest of my swim. Go TEAM! (And remember to take meds after exercising)

And this afternoon I swam 1,000 yds in 40 minutes, too. I don't know what my deal is, but I never want to exercise on my way there, but I feel great afterward. You'd think the Pavlov effect would kick in at some point, and I'd start drooling just thinking about it. Go TEAM!

by the time i was able to get outside it was almost dark, so walked in the neighborhood cul-de-sac which is 1) lighted and 2) no cars except the dozen families living there. a nice warm 28 degrees, no wind, very peaceful. actually a little too warm as i had to take off my scarf and gloves early on. christmas lights. and three deer ran across the road not too far in front of me, then stopped to check me out, or frozen in fear, not sure which; not sure why, when i see them several times a week, i still think its exciting.......of course not as exciting as seeing a bear, but i think that would be just a little too much excitement!
walked: 2 miles, 45 minutes
schmaltzy 70s soft rock on my ipod starting with Brandy by Looking Glass; that's ok, yesterday we were listening to the Clash, so it all balances out!
