If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

That is a pass named "Hell For Sure Pass" at 11,297 ft that we crossed on our way to Mount Goddard in 1994. Above Bishop below Tahoe? Dangit I really really really miss California.

hi lath! just up and moving around with my internet...yes...try the yoga out! it is indeed awesome when you have family and friends to support you. hubby knew how bad i've been for years. he worried about my back when i met him 18+ yrs ago and back then i didnt think twice about it. yet he is the one that encouraged me to try out krav. he thought it would be a great outlet for me and allow me to rid my stress and pace myself. it was the best idea he ever gave me. my friends worried alot about me. they were stunned that i could do it. but when 2 of my friends joined they realized how therapeutic it is for me. i will admit i was completely frozen with fear when i tried out the free class. i thought surely everyone would notice my boney back and rolled shoulders and gait....but they didnt. and they were very kind and allowed me to work at my pace. as long as we never stopped. and never gave up...and i havent. i refuse to let this disease dictate my life. i love my life. i love it more since having AS. i took it for granted for so long. when i got sick i realized how special it truly was and i have a zest for life and all it's challenges. i wake up and am still a bony rigid mess. i'm hobbling by 2-3 pm and go downhill from there. BUT every day i wake up and tuck and roll out of bed is an accomplishment within itself! and with all of the support here...we can go nowhere else but up! one hobbly step at a time...but it's a step nonetheless! take care friend!

i had to laugh when i read this post erika!! i wander off task to internet more than i should! i've contemplated doing strength training. i asked a couple of the instructers and they said i could modify to the lowest weight. in the km bag it's 1 lbs that i use. you would think it's nothing but its helped me immensely. i actually have definition in my back and shoulders that i NEVER achieved when i was healthy and using TEN lb weights and the gym regularly! we also use resistance bands. i've found those to be VERY useful for people with arthritis. because you can work around it. you can adjust the tension when doing an arm curl either by stepping on the strap and doing one armed curls and if it's too much just loosen your band on your foot and so forth. if you would like some tips on them i know PLENTY with the resistance bands!! you can do alot!!! and they wont hurt you! gooo erika!!!
