1200 metres in the pool today.
My son came to the pool today for the very first time. He´s 23 months and had a great time splashing around (and drinking the pool water). He will learn we hope.
He´s been to the beach and other pools but this was the first time with me in the pool where I am a member.

Hope it is the first of many!

Yesterday I ran 7.28 miles in 1 hour and 16 minutes. I got a phone call in the middle so that added a couple of minutes. I did not run on Thursday frown. I didn't have time at lunch, and never made it later. I had planned on going at least 9 on Saturday, but I got up to late.

been walking some, but colder this week.

walked 1.5 miles (30 min) twice this week, walked 1 mile (20 min) another day. other days just a lot of running around campus to and from meetings and such.

OK my first post in this forum, I have avoided it because of two things, well, two words to be exact: Fitness and Team..........I am neither you see!

Anyway to add my mileage for the day.

I strode vigorously from my music studio to my home. I hope this counts

So... all this blooming of trees getting to anyone else? Aaaahhhccccchhhoooo!!! eek2

Friday night last, I did actually go back and swimm 700 yds, and yesterday 600 yds. At some point over the weekend I walked a mile. But today all I've done is my 3 hr shift at the food bank and not much else. Well, I walked slowly about a mile with my sister. Tomorrow I'm swimming BEFORE I do anything else!

Good job everyone! And Sue, thanks. I did well, but I am NEVER - repeat NEVER - speaking in public again. I thought I was going to pass out. eyes

I had this funny vision of us all starting at one end of a long beach, and doing whatever it is we usually do... bobbing, swimming, walking, running, shoveling, shuffling, biking, triking, surfing, sweepting, gardening, KM'ing... and how long it would take us to get from one end of the beach to another. Then how funny it would be if Buggy was the sort of driver behind us with the KM moves and shouts. Anyway, it seemed funny in my own head. A bit circus-like.

GO TEAM! clap

Yes, we would have been more aptly named two other words - "motley crew", but we are a fun lot. And yes, ALL EXERCISE COUNTS! cheerleader We have gardeners, snow shovelers, surfers, bikers, runners, house cleaners, goat and chicken feeders... ANYTHING THAT INVOLVES MOVEMENT! yes
