I have to say that I am still a bit disappointed that your are not actually walking your own donkey. That was such a delightfully eccentric mental image.

You me both, Erica, how fun would it be to say "just popping out to walk the donkey, darling!"
I think if we had a donkey to walk my kids would have kittens!!! There is another eccentric mental image for you!!! Heeheehee!

BTW what's this I hear about a clown rainbow BIRTHDAY??!! rainbow clown Have we missed it, hon? If you amend your personal details everyone will know and can wish you many happy returns! Maybe you don't want to make a fuss, so I'll just whisper it:
Happy Birthday Erica! SSSShhhhh wink

PS glad you are feeling a bit more perky lately, missey grin

Wednesday 24 November
Walked 20 minutes / 0.5 mile
Donkey did lots of eeoorring because we forgot his snack! Kids eyes were popping out with excitement!! eek2
One of my daughters found a stick to throw for the dog and sure enough he got very excited about this, but would not give the stick back for another go!
Very cold walk, but certainly cleared the cobwebs out of our heads! snowflake1

Very good, Sue!
This could be the soundtrack to our lives too at the moment - if I slightly change the lyrics to:

I-t ne-e-ve-r st-ops raining!

It is absolutely bizarre how bad western Washington is at dealing with snowfall. My daughter called my several years ago in a state of hilarity, because her bus drive pulled over to the side of the street, made everyone get off the bus, locked it and walked away. laugh2

Good job taking the kids for walks with you! cheerleader My family suffers from obesity, and my kids never got it. I think it's because I kept them outside all the time. They've grown into fit healthy adults, thanks be to GOD smile

Good job walking and rocking! cheerleader

I loved my birthday song! Every day my husband hears me playing your iPod songs, and I have to say it's already getting to be an expensive habit. I think I'll need a "Sue's music" section in iTunes.

Go TEAM! clap

Hi TEAM! cheerleader

After my two day hissy fit over the snow, during which I did absolutely zero stretching and/or exercise... no

Followed by swimming yesterday in 82F water ~ the pool was 4F colder because of the outside temperature. I am having more stiffness and pain since I started cymbalta & LDN. I seriously dislike "shooting myself in the foot". mad

I hope everyone else is moving out there! cheerleader

So far today I've tried to get back to practicing what I preach and have managed 10 minutes of stretching and 25 minutes of tai chi.

Go TEAM! clap

The battery in my GPS was dead this morning so all I have is the time.
I ran for 1 hour and 12 minutes. Should have been some where around 7.5 miles.
The temperature was 10 degrees when I started, and made it all the way to 14 degrees when I finished. I had water with me, and it was partially frozen when I got back. It was a beautiful day, bright and sunny just cold.
