Doctor has told me to stop exercise class until I see Rheumy in January. So it is walking and stretching only for me at the moment.
Saturday 20 November
Walked 0.5 miles / 20 minutes with kids
(as we approached donkey/dog HQ, dog went off for his own walk, he has obviously given up on us bringing him snacks!)
Monday 22 November
Walked 1 mile / 50 minutes with kids

Well done Tink. Found the gym - well, GPS found the gym! Almost an hours drive. Sleeting rain, ghastly in places. Nice gym. Seems a sound bloke running it. Met a pleasant French lass, who has spent 13yrs in the UK, she is an English teacher, teaching adults. So had a great conversation and she was my able translator with the proprieter of the gym. Who, BTW, knows AS and has had spondy adherents to the gym programme! He is going to take me under his wing. *Insists I start 'slow'... They have Pilates, and I will start with the beginners class (see how it goes as a long time since I did owt). First day at gym, this Friday. Greeeeeeat. Really looking forward to it - but NOT the drive! Hideous drive back in pitch darkness, and flippin GPS took me all the back roads: lakes, ditches, twisty bends...murder. In future will ensure I am NOT driving in the dark - am hopeless driving in the dark. Really unerves me (and no doubt others!) Watch this space for Friday...dada <VBG> (I'll be *carefu Tink, dinna worry me lass.  )

lol...ok you big sloth..at least you admit it..lol  My attitude has greatly improved.  Today the swimming pool was open, my kids & siblings all called me, and my husband's making me dinner for my birthday. Woohoo! I love my life! Go TEAM!

Hi Everyone! My bad attitude has been overcome, and I'm happy to say that the POOL WAS OPEN TODAY!!! So, I got to swim 1,200 yds in 45 minutes, and I even stretched for 10 minutes. I know that's not much stretching, but... well, I have no good excuse. Tomorrow I'll go for 11 minutes.  For all the Yanks, have a great Thanksgiving weekend, and to everyone else... happy Nov 24th  Go TEAM!
