If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

It is kind of depressing that I am so slow now. A few years ago I was very consistent at running about 8 minute miles. Now I sometimes run a 9 minute mile. I am just glad I can run, when I was first diagnosed with MS I could not run at all. My right leg did not work correctly. I really feel for you, Orch, not being able to be the person you know you can be is VERY tough to take... On the flip side, the amount you can do while suffering with chronic disease, is truely amazing! You an inpiration to everyone, Orch. I for one think your running is incredible

You are welcome tink... You have 3 wee ones under 6 so that alone is cardio for you! I have a 16yr old, 10 yr old, and 7 yr and they still plumb wear me out. But not as much as when they were in carryig stages. I had back pain since I was a teen. But full blown after my 2nd daughter was born. That and strollers and soccer for my oldest...I never had time to exercise...that was MY cardio. Just pace yourself. You know your body more than anyone else. I also went through a c-section. 3 as a matter of fact so its like learning to use those muscles all over again. The good thing for you is that you were exercising before. I never worked out. I had so much knee and back pain. Then for a short period I did when my oldest was about 5-6 yrs old. Then I came out preggers and the AS came on full force. One last thing. When you do any situps...dont put too much pressure on your neck. Alot of folks place their hands behind them or on their side and dont realize they are making their neck worse. That took me forever to try to do. But for the first time in my life I have abs. Make sure you eat well too! Mommas need their energy levels up! I havent modified my diet. My only vice is coca cola. But I get to eat what I want pretty much all the time. Once I hit "40" two years ago that was no longer an option! Krav saved me! Keep up the good work Tink!! We'll keep rockin!!!

Oh yeah, and picked apples and pears, 30 minutes. Housework and yardwork is ALWAYS highlighted as good exercise in the arthritis magazine I read! Go Donette! Go TEAM!

We got followed by a dog (don't know if he is friendly or not) he usually eyes us up when we walk past and "escorts" us from a slight distance right around the property he lives in until we pass round the corner and up the road. This time he was totally hot on our heels!
I suggest taking dog treats along from now on. My husband always walks with treats in his pockets and the dogs are ALL friendly. Extra points for walking while carrying children! Go TEAM!
hen walked 1/2 mile in rain then 1/2 mile back in howling gale and pouring rain lashing down! Sounds exciting?!? My friend and I once took off for a 6 mile hike in shorts and t-shirts in 85F weather, and two blocks from getting back to my house we got pinned under some trees in a wicked cold hail storm. Ahhh... the Sierra Nevada... I miss thee. Go TEAM!

Did you know that purple potatoes make lavender mashed potatoes, but purple string beans turn green when you cook them? It's a curious fact that I would love an answer for if anyone has one. one simple possibility could be that some colors change color depending on pH, that's how pH indicators work, a dye that's one color at one pH and another at another. like for example red cabbage is red if you add a little vinegar, keep it acidic, otherwise it turns blue. Oooooo... what could I add to keep it more purple?

I remember when you were dx with the MS...it was after one of the biologics right? Thanks for the support it is great to know we have an AS team here. I had six great pain free months, then the MS started to set in, still pain free just dizzy, and could not get my legs to work correctly. The first test they did was a nerve conduction test. While doing the test the tech said I don't know what the problem is, but I know it is not your legs or lower back. My reaction time was really good. I just try to be thankful that I can run again, and I know I could wake up one morning, and not be able to run. My mobility and coordination has improved like crazy since starting the LDN. And one of my cousins with MS is having a lot more energy with her LDN. It's a thought...

Hey Lath! While you are giving out these awsome cups, I think you deserve one yourself! You keep me very busy indeed inputting all your stats! If I got points for finger exercises I would be well away! Here is your cup
