If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Sunday: bike 25 miles (90 minutes) and 30 minutes upper body stretches.
It rained all day today...not heavy...just a constant light rain. Well, I didn't have much traffic on the bike paths. And it was great when the wind was at my back! its was like that here on friday!

my #1 garden tool is hubby! She has tools that are sort of leverage things. Her hand spade is bent at an angle, and it has a strap that rests against her forearm. Kind of like this but not exactly. those tools look really helpful! almost as helpful as a hubby! As for the zanaflex, I just got the prescription filled yesterday, so I'll probably try it this evening. I have such weird reactions to meds, I like to try them once when my husband is able to dial 911 in case something weird happens. This body of mine is so odd. I was thinking last night that I feel so grateful for feeling as good as I do when my blood work always looks so crappy. Truly amazing. i've been doing the same thing with the meds: make sure i don't start them on the weekend when the doctors are all off. and always make sure i start them with hubby around. and never take them right before sleep like i take all my other meds. want to be awake if my body starts shutting down. never thought much about it til years later when i realized that a bp of 80/55 from 2 mg of zanaflex is kind of a scary thing. don't even want to think what might have happened to me if a higher dose had been prescribed for me. mixed years ago with the vioxx, an antagonist to the P450 that works on the zanaflex, really lucky that one didn't kill me, there are warnings now for drugs that affect that P450 for drugs that use that P450. i had only discovered this little fact when teaching a section on P450s in my biochemistry protein course. and then there's the whole nsaid - stomach thing. that one ketoprofen last weekend has me very apprehensive to try another one. pretty bad gastritis from the one pill. but it did help my feet, knees, and ribs/upper back. rhetorical question: why do the nsaids either cause side effects or not work! i see ssz in my near future, i just hope i don't have a really bad reaction to it. a sulfa antibiotic made me so so sick years ago in my 20s, i really don't want a repeat of that! i have definitely come to appreciate and respect drugs that work without untold side effects.

those tools look really helpful! almost as helpful as a hubby! I'm starting to feel uncomfortable that we keep calling your husband a tool. Sorry... crude... it's early. why do the nsaids either cause side effects or not work! i see ssz in my near future NSAIDS ~ sigh, how I miss thee. SSZ ~ unfortunately I'm ANA+ which makes that too much of a risk for me, because one of my sister's already has lupus AND an allergy to sulfa. I told a new guy on KickAS that I get more good ideas and advice on this forum than I have ever gotten from ANY doctor. You guys ROCK! Go TEAM!
