walked again yesterday, another mile, another ~30 minutes.

it was snowing when we went out, so covered with snow, but bundled and warm. So pretty when it snows. So long as I don't have to be driving in it!

Today I went to the gym, and for the first time in 5 years I got on the treadmill. I went 10 minutes on the treadmill, and 25 minutes on the elliptical. I am afraid of treadmills because I afraid I will stumble, and fly off the back. The fear comes from the having MS, and my balance is not what it was 10 years ago.

2 nights ago walked the building as a break, ~1/2 mile, ~ 30 minutes, up and down stairs too.

then started feeling a head cold coming on.....so yesterday and today taking it easy.

I think the LDN, fish oil, vitamin C, lots of green and white and ginger teas all help to minimize symptoms.....

either that or it hasn't really hit me yet.

I AM OFFICIALLY IN LOVE WITH THE GYM. heart

Oh my goodness, if only I'd known sooner!
This is the story. I have ALWAYS worked out outside. ALWAYS. Until that bad flare and subsequent NSAID sensitivity, blah blah blah...
sleep

Then I started swimming. Only swimming. And since we've been back in Colorado, I've been swimming at the new university pool which is gorgeous but cold!
snowflake1 snowflake1 snowflake1

Every winter the U pool closes for 2 weeks, which is a pain -literally. The two other pools in the area are saturated with chlorine. Bleck!
sick

Today we went to Gold's gym to try out a trial membership, because they have a salt water pool and I thought it would be good to try it.
yes

It is YUMMY!!!!! Saline pool, warm, ahhh... I wanted to sleep there. Okeedokee, that's my story.
heart

AND THERE IS A YOGA ROOM IN THE LOCKER ROOM AREA!!! grin

Check out this video.

Good job movin' it before you lose it!! cheerleader

Yesterday I was going to go skiing in the morning so I could get out of the bad air in the valley, but my wife said she needed my help in the morning. So I thought I would make a run in American Fork canyon, but then my son needed the truck to go snow boarding. Off to the gym I went 1 hour on the elliptical.

Erika, I go to the Gold's gym on weekdays it is next door to where I work. I have never used the pool there. I usually change there and go running outside, or if the weather is bad then I use the elliptical there. I lift a little bit of weights there.
